泰師云：以經正，但以論主以多攝小故云不過。又解：論辨實義不同小論。又云：瓔珞經者，前秦世竺佛念譯，而今三藏不信。

Master Tai says: 'Because the sūtra is authoritative; it is merely that the treatise master subsumes the lesser under the greater, and therefore says "does not exceed".' Another explanation says: 'The treatise elucidates the real meaning, unlike the Hīnayāna treatises.' He also says: 'As for the Yingluo jing, it was translated by Zhu Fonian in the Former Qin era, and the present Tripiṭaka Master does not trust it.'
