第三、心淨，謂一切心麁重永滅故者，明定清淨。由麁重盡入住無礙，此明離過。又於心中一切善根皆積集故者，佛甚深定善根積集，此明定用能攝勝德。

Third, purity of mind, namely, because all coarse heaviness of the mind is eternally extinguished: this clarifies the purity of meditative concentration. Because coarse heaviness is exhausted, entering and abiding [in concentration] are unhindered; this clarifies liberation from faults. Furthermore, because all wholesome roots are gathered in the mind: all wholesome roots are gathered in the Buddha's profound concentration; this clarifies that the function of meditative concentration can gather superior virtues.
