12.30

由發聞行正法光明，等持光明等者，謂求法時聞慧照法光明故言聞行正法光明。由聞生修故言等持光明等。

Regarding 'due to emitting the light of the true Dharma through hearing and practice, the light of samādhi, and so forth': when seeking the Dharma, the light of the wisdom derived from hearing illuminates the Dharma, hence it is called 'the light of the true Dharma through hearing and practice'; because cultivation arises from hearing, it says 'the light of samādhi, and so forth.'
