次釋死生智力，於中初明死生時所見好惡色相；後明由善惡行往苦樂處。於中分二：初明往惡趣；後明往善趣。前中，初廣釋因果；後總結之。

Next, it explains the power of the knowledge of death and rebirth. Therein, first it clarifies the fine or ugly physical appearances seen at the time of death and rebirth; afterwards it clarifies proceeding to places of suffering or happiness due to good or bad deeds. Therein it divides into two: first it clarifies proceeding to the bad destinies; afterwards it clarifies proceeding to the good destinies. In the former, first it extensively explains cause and effect, and afterwards it summarizes and concludes.
