12.360

第七明差別，亦有差別，亦不差別者，基，謂如處非處與自業以觀善不善因故名無差別，但觀善不善業能感愛不愛果是處非處，自作善業自受善報名自業力，故有差別，餘下準此應知。

Seventh, explaining differences: as for "there is also difference, and there is also no difference", Ji says: for example, [the power of] what is possible and impossible and [the power of] one's own karma are called non-different because both observe wholesome and unwholesome causes; however, merely observing that wholesome and unwholesome karma can induce desirable and undesirable fruits is [the power of] what is possible and impossible, whereas creating wholesome karma oneself and experiencing wholesome retribution oneself is called the power of one's own karma; therefore there is a difference. The rest below should be known by analogy with this.
