下嘆論勸持，謂若諸人天於菩薩地信解受持廣為他說所獲福聚如於佛說菩薩藏教樂聞受持開示稱讚獲福無異，何以故？以菩薩分別顯示佛說菩薩藏經，略標廣釋令他解故。又由菩薩地開示三藏令多有情受持讀誦，如說修行經於多時，像似法不興，正法不滅，若於爾時像似法興能引實益正法速滅，是故受持菩薩地得福無量也。

Below, praising the treatise and encouraging people to uphold it: that is, if humans and devas faithfully understand, uphold, and widely teach it to others in the Bodhisattvabhūmi, the accumulation of merit they obtain is no different from the merit obtained by delighting in hearing, upholding, explaining, and praising the teaching of the Bodhisattva Basket spoken by the Buddha. Why? Because bodhisattvas distinguish and elucidate the Bodhisattva Basket Sūtras spoken by the Buddha, briefly stating and extensively explaining them to cause others to understand. Furthermore, because the Bodhisattvabhūmi explains the Tripiṭaka and causes many sentient beings to uphold, read, and recite it, practicing in accord with what is taught over a long period, counterfeit Dharma does not arise, and the true Dharma does not perish; for if at that time counterfeit Dharma were to arise, the true Dharma that brings genuine benefit would quickly perish. Therefore, upholding the Bodhisattvabhūmi brings immeasurable merit.
