第三依施設中，云及依此故，施設如是名字乃至如是壽量邊際等諸想等想假用言說者，謂於五取蘊施設八言說句，如是卷說羅漢興此八依相應不相應中，云與六攝受事不共相應者，謂共父母攝受事相應，以無學人不捨供養父母故，餘六捨離故不共相應也。與流轉障礙依，一向全不相應者，泰云：四識住中由貪趣向故名趣識住等，羅漢無貪非色趣識住等故無四識住，羅漢十二果因緣不成因果故也。

Under the third, the designation of supports, it says "and relying on this, one designates such names up to such limits of lifespan, and such notions, equal notions, and conventional designations." This means designating eight verbal phrases regarding the five appropriation aggregates. As this fascicle states regarding the arhat's conjunction and non-conjunction with these eight supports: saying "not jointly conjoined with the six matters of embracing" means being conjoined with the matter of embracing parents, because a non-learner does not abandon supporting parents; the remaining six are abandoned, hence "not jointly conjoined." "Wholly and completely not conjoined with the supports of transmigration and obstruction": Tai says that among the four stations of consciousness, because of proceeding through craving, it is called proceeding to a station of consciousness, etc.; an arhat lacks craving, and is not a form proceeding to a station of consciousness, etc., so they lack the four stations of consciousness; this is because for an arhat, the twelvefold causal conditions do not constitute cause and fruition.
