解言：畢竟本寂之言俱是，舊經第五寂靜平等一句正是真如，下現有體事能取正智離諸戲論平等性故，當舊離諸虛偽平等，舊經本淨平等即是正智離虛偽戲論也。

Explanation: The words "ultimately and fundamentally quiescent" both [refer to this]: the single clause in the old sūtra, the fifth, "the equality of tranquility", is precisely tathatā; below, "because of the equality of the correct wisdom capable of grasping existing substantive entities being free from all conceptual proliferation" corresponds to the old "the equality of being free from all falsity"; the old sūtra's "equality of fundamental purity" is precisely correct wisdom being free from false conceptual proliferation.
