此中依護月菩薩釋，其見分等三分中，其種子為自證分緣，種子即見分體故。由此理故，相應五數不緣種子。由此理故，生無色界第八見分，即無所緣。故彼言第八見分，而欲色界器世界等，以是共業故，雖生無色，而得下緣。

Here, according to the interpretation of Bodhisattva Candragomin, among the three aspects—such as the seeing-aspect—the seeds are intentional objects of the self-witnessing aspect, because the seeds are the substance of the seeing-aspect itself. For this reason, the five conjoined mental factors do not have seeds as their intentional object. For this reason, the eighth seeing-aspect born in the formless realm has no intentional object. Therefore, he says that as for the eighth seeing-aspect and the container world of the desire and form realms, because they are shared karma, even though one is born in the formless realm, one still obtains them as lower intentional objects.
