第三明互為緣性轉相，於中初問；次解；後牒結之。解中有二：初、明賴耶與轉識為二緣，二、明轉識與彼賴耶亦為二緣。

Fourth, explaining the transformative aspect of mutual conditioning. Within this, first there is a question; next, an explanation; and afterwards, a reiteration and conclusion. In the explanation there are two parts: first, clarifying that the ālayavijñāna serves as two conditions for the evolving consciousnesses; second, clarifying that the evolving consciousnesses also serve as two conditions for that ālayavijñāna.
