一家云：諸種生現現生種必同時，如種子義及此中文等，如第五即等種子七義文。言自類者，謂自種子類，種子生種子，自類相生，故非即此剎那；若種望現行名異類，是即此剎那。又舊種望新種，亦有異類，即此剎那。

Another master says: Seeds producing actual functioning and actual functioning producing seeds must be simultaneous, as in the definition of seeds and this text here, and as in the text of the seven meanings of seeds in the fifth section. 'Own category' refers to the category of one's own seeds, where seed produces seed, generating one's own category, and therefore it is not in this very single moment; but if seeds are viewed in relation to actual functioning, it is called a different category, which is in this very single moment. Furthermore, old seeds in relation to new seeds also constitute a different category, which is in this very single moment.
