泰云：大乘中，如眼識於一念時，取青黃等多色境界，有青黃等多種行解，取相各異互不相違，廣說乃至意識亦爾，當知本識與諸識俱亦不相違。

Tai says: In the Mahāyāna, just as the eye consciousness in a single moment apprehends sensory realms of multiple colors such as blue and yellow, possessing multiple modes of cognitive activity such as blue and yellow, whose apprehended characteristics are mutually distinct without mutually contradicting, and so on at length up to the mental consciousness being likewise, one should know that the basic consciousness being simultaneous with the various consciousnesses is also not contradictory.
