第五明越流還滅相中，初問、次解、後結。中有三：初、明建立越流，二、明趣入通達修習作意，三、明建立轉依。

In the fifth section, clarifying the characteristics of crossing the flow and returning to extinction, first comes the question, next the explanation, and finally the conclusion. Within this there are three parts: first, clarifying the establishment of crossing the flow; second, clarifying the mental application that enters, penetrates, and cultivates; third, clarifying the establishment of the transformation of the basis (āśrayaparavṛtti).
