基云：有疫等四者，此如三藏云：初三是三害，後一是心憂苦，又前三是罪，後一是心憂苦，今更別即八四相次配之，又初一是三害下三是三罪，又初三是三害後一是三罪。

Ji says: 'Regarding the four including plagues: as the Tripiṭaka Master says, the first three are the three harms, and the last one is sorrow and suffering of the mind; alternatively, the first three are offenses, and the last one is sorrow and suffering of the mind. Now, further distinguishing, they correspond sequentially to the eight and the four. Alternatively, the first one is the three harms and the lower three are the three offenses; alternatively, the first three are the three harms and the last one is the three offenses.'
