Where the treatise explains the thorough comprehension of the aggregate of consciousness, and so forth: "There is pestilence, there is untimely disaster, there is catastrophe, there is distress": as the Dharma Master stated: the first three are the three harms, and the last one is mental grief and suffering. Alternatively, the first three are the three faults, and the last one is mental grief and suffering. Now, distinguishing them further, they are matched successively to the four marks. Alternatively, the first one is the three harms, and the lower three are the three faults. Alternatively, the first three are the three harms, and the lower is the three faults.
