根依者，即違根之四大，故第二復次釋所以中云：若諸色根及自大種非心心法種子隨逐者等，若爾何故論云隨遂色根有諸色根種子等，不言四大中有諸色法種子等？

The supports of the faculties are the four great elements that sustain the faculties. Therefore, in the second explanation of reasons, it states: "If the physical faculties and their own great elements were not accompanied by the seeds of mind and mental factors, etc." If so, why does the treatise say that accompanying the physical faculties there are the seeds of the physical faculties and so forth, without stating that within the four great elements there are the seeds of physical dharmas and so forth?
