基云：三藏言：根依者扶根塵，若爾何故下，攝一切種子中不言扶根塵，及次下文云：當知所餘色法唯自種子之所隨逐。今此理文違故釋之。

Ji says: The Tripiṭaka Master says: "The supports of the faculties are the supporting physical elements." If so, why is it that below, in the inclusion of all seeds, the supporting physical elements are not mentioned, and the text immediately following states: "One should know that the remaining physical dharmas are accompanied only by their own seeds"? Now, because this reasoning and the text conflict, it is explained [as follows]:
