異生性者，（景云：）具縛見斷煩惱種子假立異生性，以障初入聖故，道理見斷煩惱業及異熟，並應建立異生性體，但以種子恒相續故偏熟建立。

Regarding the nature of an ordinary being (pṛthagjanatva)—Jing says: The seeds of afflictions to be abandoned by seeing, in one fully bound, are provisionally established as the nature of an ordinary being, because they obstruct initial entry into noble status. In principle, the afflictions, karma, and ripening to be abandoned by seeing should all establish the entity of the nature of an ordinary being, but because seeds are constantly continuous, it is established predominantly in terms of them.
