問：第八相續似一常，恐起人我見凡不聞，本識有體相是實，慮法執大不說？

Question: The continuum of the eighth [consciousness] resembles a single permanent [entity]; fearing that ordinary beings would give rise to the view of a personal self, they do not hear of it. The fundamental consciousness has an ontological nature and characteristics that are real; for fear of the grasping of phenomena, is it also not taught in the Mahāyāna?
