又應云：入滅定時，六識長時間斷，此即無識持種即種已失，不應而有出定相續而次更得長時流轉，用何種生。

Furthermore, one should say: When entering the absorption of cessation, the six consciousnesses are interrupted for a long time; this means that with no consciousness holding the seeds, the seeds are already lost; it is improper that upon emerging from the absorption there could be continuity and then further flow for a long time—by using what seed would it arise?
