The perception aggregate subsumes a fraction of three factors of existence: name-and-form, birth, and aging-and-death. Not subsuming any faculties: Ji says: Because it is covered by wisdom, it is not a faculty; just as when remembering an event, one says wisdom remembers, because it covers perception, it is therefore not a faculty. Furthermore, it does not have the predominant meaning of a faculty, being predominant in worldly defilement and predominant in the defilement of saṃsāra, as should be reflected upon according to the sūtra.
