第三問：已知同處不相離要是自性，報與長養但名相雜，未知如此相雜為集細成麁，為隨大小一物而生非集成耶？

Third question: It is already known that inseparability in the same locus must be of their own nature, whereas retribution and nourishment are merely called mixture. It is not yet known: is such mixture an accumulation of the minute to form the coarse, or does it arise as a single entity according to size and is not an accumulation?
