泰云：於定自在如五神通名有威德，定所行境作緣令他得見聞等，故指事云猶如變化，自在定境久習定現故云彼果，作意現起定數境界故云彼境，及餘王數相應色故云及識等，以諸王數各現自境故須別舉。

Tai says: Being sovereign in samādhi, like the five supernormal knowledges (abhijñā), is called 'endowed with authority'. The sphere of samādhi serves as a condition enabling others to see, hear, and so forth; hence it points to the matter, saying 'like transformations'. The sovereign samādhi sphere, having long been cultivated in samādhi, becomes manifest, hence it is called 'that fruit'; being actively manifested as the object of mental factors associated with samādhi, it is called 'that object'. And the forms associated with other primary minds and mental factors, hence it is said 'and consciousness, etc.'; because the primary minds and mental factors each manifest their own objects, they must be specified separately.
