第三微細，謂色無色界諸色者，景云：色界有二種色名自在轉。一、是自在定心所觀；二者、由自在定相應業感所得報色，亦名心自在轉，無色但有定心所現名自在轉。

Regarding the third subtlety, namely the various forms of matter of the form and formless realms, Jing says: In the form realm, there are two kinds of matter called 'operating with mastery': 1. that which is contemplated by the mind of absorption with mastery; 2. the retribution-matter obtained through being induced by karma associated with absorption with mastery, which is also called operating with mental mastery. In the formless realm, there is only that manifested by the meditative mind, which is called operating with mastery.
