後二生者，以水攝受故萌芽得生等，名攝受生。與此相違，則日火等令芽乾𤍜，名損減生。

Regarding the latter two productions: because water appropriates it, a sprout is able to grow and so forth, which is called 'production by appropriation'. Contrary to this, sun, fire, and so forth cause the sprout to dry up and wither, which is called 'production by diminution'.
