十門第七明剎那，中分之為二：初明色法有剎那滅；後明諸行是心之果當知如心皆剎那滅。前中有三：初舉正義；次以四句破其外計；後結勸了知。前中復三：初標宗；次徵；後釋所以。

The seventh of the ten headings explains the moment (kṣaṇa). It is divided into two parts: first, it explains that material phenomena have momentary cessation; second, it explains that all conditioned factors are the fruits of the mind, and one should know that like the mind they all cease momentarily. In the first part there are three: first, it presents the correct view; next, with four propositions it refutes their heterodox tenets; finally, it concludes by urging full understanding. In the first part there are again three: first, it states the thesis; next, it investigates; finally, it explains the reason.
