基云：如薩婆多部以立比量道理成立滅亦有因。立量云：滅亦有因（宗），是有為故（因），猶如生相（喻）。

Ji says: For instance, the Sarvāstivāda school establishes through inferential reasoning that cessation also has a cause. They formulate the inference: 'Cessation also has a cause (thesis), because it is conditioned (reason), just like the characteristic of arising (example).'
