十門第九明所行性中，初總問答辨色法攝根塵多少；次問答釋。於中。先總舉三緣指本地分說；後次第廣釋。

In the ninth section of the ten topics, explaining the nature of the domain of activity: first, a general question and answer distinguishes how many faculties and dusts (sense objects) are subsumed by material phenomena; next, questions and answers explain them. Therein, first it generally adduces the three conditions, pointing to what was taught in the Maulī Bhūmiḥ; afterward, it successively explains them in detail.
