下明近住戒障，若白法損害心極改悔與受近住戒。言隨他轉者，但隨他心詐現受相。

Below, the hindrances to the fasting-day (upavāsa) precepts are explained: if there is impairment of wholesome qualities, but the person intensely repents in his heart, one confers the fasting-day precepts upon him. As for 'following another's lead,' this refers merely to following another's mind and falsely displaying the appearance of receiving them.
