言前說集諦四行，當為生今果差別四苦故者，景云：求後有愛生此苦，獨愛生此緣內苦，喜貪俱行愛彼彼希求愛生此緣外苦，總別四愛生麁重苦。基云：此現生非一別生，又思父隱，列生稍難。

Regarding the statement that "the four aspects of practice of the truth of origin previously explained serve to generate the differentiated four sufferings as present fruition": Jing states that the craving that seeks future existence generates this suffering [of birth]; exclusive craving generates this suffering conditioned internally; craving accompanied by delight and lust, and craving that seeks after this and that, generate this suffering conditioned externally; and the four cravings, general and particular, generate the suffering of coarseness. Ji states: These present births are not a single differentiated birth; moreover, the thought is subtle and hidden, so enumerating their generation is somewhat difficult.
