下問答辨。問意：見道已前，前要先觀無常，常常是無願門，後入見道住無我相，無我相是空，解脫門中先舉空門不舉無願門耶？

Below is the discrimination through question and answer. The import of the question: Prior to the path of seeing, one must first contemplate impermanence, and impermanence is the wishless gate; later, entering the path of seeing, one abides in the characteristic of non-self, and the characteristic of non-self is emptiness. Why, among the gates of liberation, is the emptiness gate adduced first rather than the wishless gate?
