命根中，景云：對法論說命根不名異熟無記，但名自性無記者，即此異熟於三性門自性是其無記故，但知自性無記寬通五根名句文身命根眾同分等，異熟即狹唯局賴耶。

Regarding the life-faculty: Jing says: The Abhidharmasamuccaya states that the life-faculty is not called maturation neutral, but is only called intrinsic neutral. This maturation, in the gate of the three natures, is intrinsically neutral; thus one should know that intrinsic neutral is broad, extending across the five faculties, name-, phrase-, and syllable-groups, the life-faculty, and generic similarity, whereas maturation is narrow and confined strictly to the ālayavijñāna.
