15.28

基云：此中觸為何業，謂受想思所依為業，如餘處對法等唯是受，依何不言想思等，此彼別者，此據通論皆依於觸，觸次作意後生故。若據相隨轉，即惟受。受為何業？愛生所依為業者，謂境界等愛皆由受後方生。

Ji says: "Here, what is the function of contact? It serves as the support for feeling, conceptualization, and volition. As in other places like the Abhidharma, where it is only the support for feeling, why does it not mention conceptualization and volition? The difference between this and that is that this, according to the general discussion, holds that all rely on contact, because contact arises immediately after attention. If according to accompanying manifestation, it is only feeling. What is the function of feeling? Serving as the support for the arising of craving: craving for sense spheres and the like all arises only after feeling."
