問：若爾，迴小向大，畢竟不起二乘無漏，爾時未得起發時無漏，然即舊種已捨故應異是生耶？

Question: If so, when turning from the Hīnayāna toward the Mahāyāna, the taintless [states] of the two vehicles ultimately do not arise; at that time one has not yet attained the arising and initiating of taintless states, yet because the old seeds have already been abandoned, should one therefore be born as something else?
