15.300

三藏二解。一義，此文要時入初地時前念先捨劣無漏種，次第即起菩薩無漏。一義，地前即起菩薩無漏修大乘行，二乘無漏種發大心時即捨不成。二說，但捨生現行功能。

The Tripiṭaka Master offered two interpretations. One meaning is: in this text, when the critical time arrives and one enters the first stage (pramuditā-bhūmi), the inferior taintless seeds are first abandoned in the preceding thought-moment, and sequentially the bodhisattva's taintless [states] immediately arise. Another meaning is: prior to the stages, one already gives rise to the bodhisattva's taintless [states] to cultivate the practices of the Great Vehicle, and the taintless seeds of the two vehicles are abandoned and become unconstituted as soon as one resolves upon the great mind (bodhicitta). The second explanation says: one merely abandons the functional capacity to produce active manifestation.
