又餘經說至是故不可離俱生說和合者，違第三經。初引法說，復引喻也。說燈明喻者，如燃眾燈甚明和合，諸心心所和合今亦爾，是故不可離彼俱生而說和合。

“Furthermore, another sūtra says…” up to “…therefore, one cannot speak of union apart from simultaneous arising” contradicts the third sūtra. First, it cites an explanation of the doctrine; next, it cites an analogy. Stating the analogy of lamplight: just as when many lamps are lit, their great brightness unites, so too the union of the minds and mental factors is like this; therefore, one cannot speak of union apart from their simultaneous arising.
