五種姓不成者，此結初一過失。分位差過失、因緣無別故者，總結第二，與聖教相違，此結第三。又解：此頌結四過失，分位差為第二，因緣無別為第三，故前長行文亦分四。

“The five gotras are not established” concludes the first fallacy. “The fallacy of difference in states, and because causal conditions have no distinction” summarizes the second. “Contradiction with the sacred teachings” concludes the third. Another explanation: This verse concludes four fallacies: difference in states is the second, and causal conditions having no distinction is the third; therefore, the preceding prose text is also divided into four.
