測云：以離於彼五根五外境餘心法為能執受，執受於彼根境可得，故彼根境是所執受。然離於彼心心所法外，餘非心法為能執受，執受於彼心心所法不可得，故八界非執受。

Ce says: Because mental dharmas apart from those five faculties and five external objects act as the appropriator, appropriating those faculties and objects as can be found, therefore those faculties and objects are the appropriated. However, outside of those minds and mental factors, other non-mental dharmas acting as appropriators that appropriate those minds and mental factors cannot be found; therefore, the eight elements are not appropriated.
