成泰云：惡叉是果核之名，其形似此方磨石子，為聚無量，故未為喻，此方無故存本名。
Chengtai says: Akṣa is the name of a fruit's seed. Its shape resembles the millstones of this land; being an immeasurable aggregation, it has not yet served as a metaphor, and because it does not exist in this land, its original name is preserved.
