十四、明生三界眼等諸界，有無定不定義。先約欲界，雖聲有間斷，而約一期定有起義；次約上界，如文。

Fourteenth, explaining the definiteness and indefiniteness of the presence or absence of the eye and other realms born in the three realms. First, concerning the desire realm: although sound has interruptions, with regard to an entire life-period it definitely has the sense of arising. Next, concerning the higher realms, it is as in the text.
