前中，八勝處等，十二處中，意法處攝，當時心王是意處，同時心處共起之法是法處，唯除無想處彼十處攝除香味。

In the former part, the eight bases of mastery and so on are subsumed under the mind and dharma āyatanas among the twelve āyatanas: the principal consciousness of that time is the mind āyatana, and the dharmas arising together with the mind at that time are the dharma āyatana; only the non-conceptual station is excepted, which is subsumed under ten āyatanas, excluding fragrance and taste.
