四、義不攝失，謂明無即無性，無性之法，非有為非無為，不能為染不能為淨。

Fourth, the fault of not being subsumed in meaning. That is, the absence of brightness is non-existence; and a dharma without nature is neither conditioned nor unconditioned, and cannot be defiled nor pure.
