八、以三事攝十二支。云復次乃至皆事所攝者，此中行有二支是業心。行支中，種及現行並是行支，識支自取識中本有名言識種為識支體。

Eighth, subsuming the twelve branches under three things. Regarding 'Furthermore, up to: are all subsumed under things', here the two branches of volitional formation and existence are the karmic mind. Within the volitional formation branch, both seeds and actualised states are the volitional formation branch. The consciousness branch inherently takes the innate nominal consciousness seeds within consciousness as the entity of the consciousness branch.
