對法即說行支種子名識支者，以行支種住在識中，同彼所依亦名為識，識支自性入名色中隨論者意取捨不定。

When the Abhidharma explains that seeds of the volition link are called the consciousness link, it is because seeds of the volition link reside within consciousness and, sharing that support, are also called 'consciousness'; as for the intrinsic nature of the consciousness link, it is subsumed under name-and-form—treatise masters accept or reject this according to their own intention, without uniformity.
