15.61

或於現法已下，明其勝利，若彼行者或於現法或於後法隨為一種貪瞋惡見於心成染，由依八事修施戒等諸對治故令與染法不復相應。

From 'or in the present life' downward explains their superior benefits: if that practitioner, either in the present life or in a future life, becomes defiled in mind by any one kind of greed, anger, or wrong view, because of relying on the eight matters to cultivate all antidotes such as giving and morality, he is made to no longer be associated with defiled dharmas.
