第二約色界辨有十八者，除男女憂苦。景云：色界聖人雖不成就無漏未知根。然有煖等有漏未知根色界繫故。

Second, distinguishing that there are eighteen in reference to the form realm: this excludes the male, female, grief, and pain faculties. Jing says: Although a noble one in the form realm does not possess the taintless faculty of one who will know the unknown, nevertheless they have the tainted faculty of one who will know the unknown belonging to warmth and the rest, because it is bound to the form realm.
