後辨等流根。謂曾習善法信等五者，雖復經生，但有增進，無有捨勝得劣，除起斷善邪方便時，方有捨勝得劣。

Afterward, it distinguishes the naturally flowing faculties. Regarding the five beginning with faith, which are previously practiced good phenomena: although passing through births, there is only increase and progress, and no losing the superior to acquire the inferior, except when giving rise to wrong skillful means that sever the good roots, at which time there is losing the superior to acquire the inferior.
