十七、觀過門。先標三階。景師等云：或八者，信等五三無漏，此就假實通論。或五者，信等五。或一者，是意根，就實出體為此別明，并於境界起厭離觀。

17. The section on contemplating faults: First, three stages are marked. Master Jing and others say: 'Or eight' refers to the five beginning with faith and the three taintless ones; this is discussed generally in terms of nominal and real. 'Or five' refers to the five beginning with faith. 'Or one' refers to the mind faculty; identifying its substance in terms of reality, this is distinguished separately, as well as initiating the contemplation of disillusionment toward objects.
