Ji says: That six faculties have the meaning of inversion refers to the five feelings and mind; why does it not say 'one portion'? Again, regarding the statement 'six faculties,' it refers to the six faculties of the eye and so forth. This is based on their exhaustively initiating inversion toward objects; the intrinsic nature of inversion belongs to small portions of the six, which are indeed the five feelings and mind. Thus one knows that taking the six such as the eye faculty as the meaning of inversion is superior, while the eight beginning with faith are the antidotes. Although this has been said, since physical faculties such as the eye are spoken of as the supports of inversion, taking mind and the five feelings as the meaning of inversion is better.
