得羅漢果或一者，唯據總根，謂已知根，即金剛心最後學道。或十者，總別合論，謂信等五喜樂捨意及已知根。此中得果據無間道，不同迦延通取解脫道，今此得果，但取無間，故知前說入定但取能入，不取所入。

Attaining the fruit of arhatship with 'either one' is based solely on the general faculty, namely the faculty of having known, which is the diamond-like mind at the end of the path of learning. 'Or ten' is discussed by combining the general and the specific, namely the five beginning with faith, joy, pleasure, equanimity, mind, and the faculty of having known. Here, attaining the fruit is based on the uninterrupted path, unlike Kātyāyana who universally takes the path of liberation. Now, this attainment of the fruit takes only the uninterrupted [path]; thus we know that what was previously said about entering concentration takes only what is capable of entering, not what is entered.
